Modern farming and food processing on 62,000 hectares.
Selvi Tarım started in 1996 with an 800-hectare farm in Çukurova. Today it produces on 62,000 hectares in Türkiye, Georgia, Senegal, Kazakhstan and Romania and directly employs 12,000 people.
Contract farming is carried out with about 8,200 local farmers. Farmers are offered seed, fertilizer, technical support and purchase guarantees; payments are made within 30 days after harvest.
Irrigation is planned with soil moisture sensors and satellite imagery, cutting water use by 42 percent compared with conventional methods. Biomass energy and organic fertilizer are produced from waste.
