Our sustainability strategy is built on three priorities: climate, water and communities. Each priority has a measurable target and a responsible senior executive, and progress is published in the annual sustainability report with independent assurance.
Climate
- A 40 percent cut in site and facility emissions by 2030 against 2019
- Raising the share of hybrid and electric machines in site equipment to 25 percent
- Renewable share in the energy portfolio: 58 percent as of 2025
Water
Thanks to Selvi Tarım's drip irrigation systems, water consumption in the field fell by 42 percent compared with conventional methods. In irrigation projects, water user associations are formed and farmers are trained in water saving.
Communities
- 68 percent local employment on overseas sites
- A vocational training program on every project: 6,200 people earned certificates in 2025
- 85 local school and health center renovation projects a year
See the Reports and Policies section for the latest reports.
Governance and reporting
The senior executive responsible for sustainability targets reports directly to the CEO. The Board HSE and Sustainability Committee meets quarterly; the annual integrated report is prepared in line with GRI Standards and TCFD recommendations. In the supply chain, 120 key suppliers are assessed against human rights and environmental criteria every year.
Relations with local communities
At the start of each project a local community stakeholder map is drawn up; monthly village meetings are held throughout the project and an independent grievance mechanism operates. In the rare cases requiring resettlement, fair compensation and a livelihood restoration plan in line with international standards are applied.
