Selvi Holding applies an integrated management system compliant with ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety) on all its sites. The system is audited every year by an independent certification body.
Occupational health and safety
- Target: zero fatalities, lost-time injury frequency below 0.25
- Every worker receives eight hours of basic training in their local language before starting on site
- Behavioral safety program: 280,000 observation cards a year
- “Stop Work Authority”: every worker has the right to stop a job they consider unsafe
Environment
- At least 70 percent of site waste is recovered or reused
- Water use and carbon emissions are measured and reported for each project
- Environmental and social impact assessments are carried out before working in sensitive ecosystems
Quality
Each project is managed with a contractual quality plan, and materials and workmanship inspections are verified in independent laboratories. Client satisfaction is measured within six months after handover.
Management system and audit
The integrated management system is run by the Quality, HSE and Environment Directorate at headquarters. Every site has at least one full-time OHS specialist and an environmental officer. Internal audits are held twice a year and an independent certification audit once a year. ISO 45001 or equivalent assurance is also required in selecting contractors and suppliers.
Emergency and incident management
A written emergency plan is prepared for each project, and at least two drills are held a year. Accidents and near misses are reported to headquarters within 24 hours, a root-cause analysis is made and lessons learned are shared with all sites.
