Healing City Hospital Complex is the largest healthcare investment in northern Iraq. The structure of eleven clinical blocks offers 48 operating rooms, 220 intensive care beds and 400 additional beds in disaster situations. The hospital generates 22 percent of its electricity with rooftop solar.

Selvi's role
The project was delivered by Selvi Holding's site engineering and contract management teams across design, procurement, construction and commissioning. Local subcontractors were used, and all site workers received safety training in their local language before starting.
Local contribution
Some 1,100 people from the area were trained for the hospital's maintenance, cleaning and technical services. The medical equipment workshop was designed to serve other healthcare facilities in the region as well.
