The Nakuru–Eldoret section of East Africa's main trade corridor is being widened for 18,000 vehicles a day. While the two-lane road is converted into a four-lane divided highway, 9 bridges are rebuilt and pedestrian crossings and school-zone safety measures are completed in 26 villages.
