Job description
We are looking for an agricultural engineer to run irrigation scheduling, soil and water analysis and farmer training on the model farm of the Saint Louis Irrigation Network.
Responsibilities
- Drip and sprinkler irrigation planning
- Interpreting soil moisture sensor and satellite data
- Practical training for cooperative farmers
- Yield and water-use reporting
Requirements
- Agricultural or water resources engineering
- At least 3 years in irrigated farming
- French is a major advantage
